and Business Development Council Conference

San Diego, CA
What's the conference really like? Here are a few attendee's reactions to last year's conference in Nashville:
Credit unions large and small, marketing and business development professionals experienced and not... all will benefit in varying degrees from this conference!
I came away from the CMBDC conference charged! The workshops provided me with excellent ideas and unique programs I'm sure will bring more members into my credit union. Not only that, but other participants were willing to share stragegies and offer ideas on how to best implement the programs. Thank you for an educational and fun-filled four days! Perhaps the best conference I have been to to date.
It's three days of total immersion in the best part of our jobs creative, strategic collabrative thought. What's not to like? This is a great conference. I'll attend again and again. The committee does a great job offering fresh content that brings me back to my credit union energized and excited to share what I learned.
Attending the CMBDC is always educational, exciting and motivating. I leave each conference with new friendships, great ideas to implement, and wonderful memories.
The CMBDC Conference was informative, dynamic and an excellent opportunity to network with peers from around the country. It was outstanding - I highly recommend it and can't wait until next year.
Going home from these conferences I'm always drained. We get so much information in a short period of time it's mind boggling! Speakers are top notch and the networking possibilities are limitless and priceless!
This conference was exceptional. The content and time for each event/session were well planned. I had a wonderful time.
For a new CU Marketer, I found this conference to be almost invaluable. I promptly told my CEO upon returning to work that I felt as though I needed to "download" my brain, because it surely was full of great information and ideas that can actually be put to use in our CU.
This was the first CMBDC that I have attended and was blown away at all of the great information that I received. I came away with great networking opportunities, new friendships, and great ideas for my CU. I would recommend this conference to anyone!
As a "sophomore" attendee this year I enjoyed the conference even more. I quickly developed relationships with a great group of professionals that will serve as valuable resources to me in the future. Additonally the workshop content proved to be very valuable in "recharging" my battery for the upcoming year.
The CMBDC is an invaluable resource for credit union marketing professionals in today's competetive world.
I attended the CUNA Marketing and Business Development about five years ago and was not very pleased for a number of reasons. After attending this Conference, I am happy to report that it was absolutely GREAT! You've come a long way in the right direction...keep up the good work!
As a Business Development professional I find this conference to be the best one to attend.
As a former CUES conference attendee, I am very happy that I have been attending CUNA's annual conference for the past two years. Not only do the sessions keep me updated with the current marketing trends, but the attendees are top in their field and offer great ideas.
(Same testimonial as every year!) This is the one conference I always budget for. The networking and speakers provide "an annual charge" to my marketing batteries!
This conference was a success. Every effort was made to ensure the participant left informed with new and innovative ideas. I was very pleased with CUNA, all of the speakers and a big thank you to all of the sponsors for their participation. I will attend again.
As a Business Development person, I have found excellent value in both the general sessions and those directed at my specific area of interest. Well worth the investment.
This year's conference in Tennessee was outstanding! The topics and speakers were excellent! I will definitely be attending next year.
The CMBDC Conference is so targeted in nature that I don't have to wonder about content. My expectations and always met.
The Marketing & Business Development Conference is a must for credit union marketers no matter what your asset size. It’s a great conference for information, resources, and networking. It's the cream of crop!
I found this years confernce and breakout sessions was one of the strongest to recently address current trends.
As a first time attendee, I was very impressed with the content of this Conference, leading me to put it into my budget for next year.
It was my first year attending the conference. Coming from a smaller credit union, I wasn't sure if I would find all of the session beneficial. However, I was amazed at how well the conference was put together and the flare that was added to make it the best conference that I've been to! I came back with a lot of fresh ideas that my boss is loving! I'm already looking forward to next year's conference.
The CUNA Marketing and Business Development conference was a great place for me to learn alongside other credit union professionals in my field. Everyone was friendly and helpful and willing to share. I learned a lot an plan to go back every year.
I am new to Business Development and I really enjoyed meeting people with some of the same issues I am having. I enjoyed getting new ideas and prospectives from others. I would recommend everyone attending CMBDC!
As a first time attendee I knew that this conference would be a special privelage and opportunity for me to attend. I'm very happy to share that my expectations were blown away. The CUNA conference was top notch and 1st class in ambiance, presenters, food, resort, networking, etc. I was very proud to share my experience with my co-workers the minute I got back to my office. Great job to all of the CUNA Marketing Council Executive Committee that helped put this together.
The best part of these conferences is the learning doesn't stop when the classes end. You pick up so many great ideas in the hall ways, at dinners or even at the bars.
The CMBDC is an excellent way to meet business development & marketing colleagues from across the country, to network, share ideas, and hear about best practices. Credit union marketers and business development people will find this conference worthwhile and exciting.
The Apprentice workshop was an awesome learning experience.
It's the most complete conference experience you'll have--from relavant and motivating speakers and breakout sessions--to numerous social and networking events.
The conference was very beneficial. There are a lot of current issues facing credit unions that were covered. Plus, this conference is a great resource for getting cutting edge information from the best in the business. If you don't take something away from the conference, you weren't paying attention!
Attending the CMBDC allows us to network with our peers and learn new and upcoming strategies to make our credit unions more successful.
This was an high energy conference that made me think. Loved the speakers, the topics, and the learning opportunies.
I believe there is a lot of material to benefit all attendees and the sponsor representatives were great.
The CMBDC is something every CU marketer should attend. Great speakers, Great networking. Get in touch with your peers and gain valuable knowledge that will help you take your CU to the next level. Don't miss it!!
When I started at my Credit Union, I had no financial background. With the help of council members through the listserve and conferences, I feel like I have gotten my feet under me in this new venture.
Anyone credit union employee who is serious about Marketing and/or Business Development and want to be successful at their job, definitely needs to attend this conference.
If you are serious about your profession, if you take the fields of marketing, public relations, and business development seriously, and if you care to expand the philosophy and understanding of the credit union cooperative movement, then this is the single most important conference you should attend.
This conference is especially great for anyone just breaking onto the CU scene. Being new to the credit union industry, it really helped me to gain a broader perspective, as well as giving me so many tools and ideas to carry back to my credit union. I came back motivated and excited!
The CMBDC Conference is one of the best Conferences I have attended in years. The presentations were great but the best part is the people you meet and the sharing of ideas.
What amazes me about this conference is that it doesn't matter how long you have been doing marketing or business development, you still bring suggestions and ideas back to your credit union that you never thought about.
Yearning to learn…then don’t miss the CMBDC Conference! It’s a creative world just waiting for you to attend. Best of all, we’ll all dream bigger and better while meeting some of the most talented credit union employees in the world!
This was my first CMBDC conference. It was great from start to finish. The sessions and networking opportunities gave me great ideas to take back and implement at my credit union.
My only testimonial is: If you are a Business Development Officer, you should plan to attend each year, as the information shared is so valuable!!!
As a first time attendee of the CMBDC conference, I thoroughly enjoyed the overall setup of the event, and Nashville was rockin'!
This was my first CMBDC conference and I was glad I was able to attend. I brought back alot of great information I will be able to use all year long. Everyone was great, they made me feel welcome, and everyone was willing to share lots of information. I plan to attend next year.
The CMBDC is a place where we can meet people within our own industry, compare notes and make friends for life. It is nice to be able to go to a conference and be able to learn and teach at the same time. I found for everything I learned, I was able to help someone that was going through a situation that I have already been through. Now, that is worth every penny!
